The AIS management approach draws from world class and globally recognized principles, encompassing key disciplines and methodologies from the PMI’s Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). We leverage a continuous process improvement framework defined by the Carnegie Mellon University Software Engineering Institute’s (SEI’s) Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI), and infuse industry-recognized quality management approaches including Six Sigma and Lean Management.

AIS Project Management solution:

AIS follows the traditional approach of project management which is a “phased” approach as shown below:

• Initiation Phase- Starting the project, get documentations, gathering the team, define the processes
• Planning Phase- Set up roadmap for the project based on resources, tasks, financial, and communication
• Execution Phase- control deliveries, make corrections, get project reports and dashboards
• Quality Control Phase- Ensure deliverables are complete and correct, conduct daily, weekly and monthly reviews as required
• Testing Phase- Develop integrated testing strategy plans, develop and execute test cases, execute performance and regression testing etc.
• Closure Phase- releasing staff, give deliverable to customer, make a post project review and get new insight for the future

AIS also believe that our overall Management Approach and Program Management Approach should all be pieces of the same whole. They should align along the same principles of customer-centricity, breadth and depth of expertise of staff, and solid models and tools utilized. To that end, our Program Management office takes that approach and applies it at the Program level, operated through a central Program Management Office. The PMO executes the processes and methods, coordinates staff and partners, interacts with the Government customers, and serves as the single point of accountability for the program. We have assembled a highly skilled, integrated program management team for accomplishing the customer’s objectives, and our robust PM and supporting corporate structure provides for all management, administration, staffing, planning, and scheduling for all items of service required by our client.
